Open Eyes

Ezekiel is doing well today. He is down to 25% oxygen (room air is 21%). His ventilator settings are lower. They have started feeding him milk again, although his digestive system is a little sluggish from a few days without food, so pray that he will start digesting well and eating a LOT so he can grow! You can also pray that he will be able to come completely off the ventilator and stay off of it. :) We will be going to see him in a couple hours and I can't wait--- I miss him soooo much!!

Goldie-- the breathing is going well. He is at 25% oxygen right now (room air has 21%). His ventilator settings are lower, and he has started eating again. :) Speaking of kisses, our nurse let us give him a kiss last night! :) :) :)

Sarah-- He is cute, isn't he!??! I think about you every time we go to the NICU. I wish you were one of his nurses :)

Mom--- Ezie loves you, too! He can't wait to see you in a few weeks. :)

Kristin! My daughter is sleeping now, but she will be so happy to see this video. She prays for Ezekiel at night and she even told everyone about him at "circle time" when the preschoolers get to share what's on their minds. She's sensitive just like me. She gets tears in her eyes when we talk about him. We want the best for your family!

Hi Ezekiel (& Mommy & Daddy) -

I swear you've gotten more adorable this morning (OK, I know it's the same video, but since God is at work in making you strong, maybe He's enhancing your cuteness in the video). Hope your tummy likes lots of that sweet Mommy milk from your feeding tube today! Sending you lots of hugs and kisses....hope the NICU angels are delivering them to you. Love, Grandma in Ohio
